This is how it works,
You’re young until you’re not.
You love until you don’t.
You try until you can’t.
You laugh until you cry.
You cry until you laugh.
And everyone must breathe,
Until their dying breath.
Roommate’s listening to this song. I first heard this song in conjunction with Lim’s video This Is How It Works for synecdochic’s “Freedom’s Just Another Word For Nothing Left to Lose,” and my grandfather dying. I tear up every time.
One of my favorite scenes in the movie, which… oddly helped inspire me to write the longest thing I’ve written in this fandom — that story where everything is fixed by Sean & Eduardo becoming epic best friends.
And, ok, I see why some people find that a little crazy. BUT IT MADE PERFECT SENSE IN MY HEAD.
And goodness for that. “Buyer’s Remorse” is one of my favorite TSN fics, mainly because of your Sean narrator, whose voice is flawless.

The Doctor catches him. “The thing about people in love,” he says again, stronger. “Is that I can show them the wonders of the universe, but without their beloved beside them, it’s not worth seeing. And if they’re with their beloved, well.” Mark can hear the smile in his voice, tentative and shaky. “They’ve already got one wonder of the universe and don’t much care for the rest. That’s the most amazing thing about the human race: you lot see the whole universe in each other.” → 1/2
