Back when I was involved in choirs, I remember always being really entertained by the “traditional” lines of each voice part, how they typically followed a certain predictable melodic pattern. Deviations were exciting, and adherence helped me to understand, interpret and characterize those voice parts even better. Over my time as a musician I’ve gotten to know all four of the choral voices and the orchestral clarinet line, but I’ve never seen what a “traditional” violin voice part looks like. Seems pretty cool.
But that could also be the roller coaster.
OMG. OMG. OMG. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ON TUMBLR EVER.
OH MY GOD THIS IS SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL LIKE I CAN’T EVEN ….
“I don’t take enough time to appreciate music for the art form it is. Maybe I should do that more.”
Haha, aww “great feelings”. Indeed.
